What are the best aspects of this product?

We have been using Cognos solutions for quite a long time so we’re really happy when they released the Cognos 11. Our team is looking forward to using this platform and see what it can do. We paired it with our Netezza data warehouse appliance and it does great in helping the company’s decision-makers get essential information and insights necessary in making smarter decisions.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

So far, the only thing we consider as a drawback of using the platform is the difficulty meeting our client’s scorecard request. To render a single scorecard, our team still have to run multiple reports or jobs.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We can generate hospital performance reporting which includes financial optimization and many more.
