What are the best aspects of this product?

SPSS has simplified our analytics process by allowing us to automate our processes. I think it’s great how we can easily clean up and manipulate our data before running it for text analytics. If we wanted to dip our toes further into its features, we can easily create codes through Python and R and simply run them here in SPSS. The latter, however, requires a background on coding.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

We’d want a more thorough data check. How can we identify the cause of data errors if we’re not equipped with statistical elements such as random checks and others? It’s pretty hard to run analytics on media files like video and images too.  

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We mainly use SPSS to make sure that our data files are error-free. This way, we can easily run analytics to gain insight into our customers’ behavior and design our campaigns accordingly. Most importantly, however, this program has allowed us to automate our processes. This has saved us a lot of manpower hours. Plus, reports are handed in on time now as well.
