What are the best aspects of this product?

It is an easy tool to use. Once you get the hang of things, you will be able to streamline your workflows without much hustle. It allows you to customize the fields and workflows on the platform the way you want. As a result, you will able to configure or edit the system tailored for your recruitment needs. We are a young recruitment firm and thus by implementing iCIMS, we had the time to explore and try out some of the functionalities the product has to offer and y that we were able to settle for this tool. After customization, we can keep on going back to correct or edit more based on our current and future needs, which is impressive.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There are a few things that the developers of iCIMS need to address in order to make this product better in terms of functionality. Although we have not had the time to critically analyze what it has to offer, we saw a thing we did not like about the email feature of the tool. It is not that impressive when it comes to sending emails to our candidates. For example, when we send iForms via our email to that one of the candidates, it is sent to the Junk Mail as spam messages. This is because of how the system formats our corporate email address which does not resemble the original address at all. It would be nice if they corrected this so that our emails can be sent to the right folder for our candidates.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has improved how well we manage our candidates, recruitment processes and data in general. Our workflow has been streamlined which was not there before. It has improved how we execute our duties in terms of recruitment of candidates. Thanks to iCIMS we are able to cover all the candidates that apply for jobs we have posted and also to round them up wherever they are. Using this product we can share to social networking sites and get more candidates to apply for the jobs, which has improved how efficient we conduct those recruitment exercises. Apart from that iCIMS has increased communication for both internal and external.
