What are the best aspects of this product?

I do not recommend Improvely to anyone. Heed this warning.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Improvely is a SCAM. BEWARE!! Scam software, scam support, and scam founder.

Where to start, we have been forced to use this company for 5+ years.The way improvely works is they force you to mask your website links in their links to measure analytics/ab test. What the fine print doesn’t say is if you stop using their service, your links actually end up NOT working. Thats correct, ALL THE TRAFFIC that goes to go to your website, if they are masked in improvely links, those links won’t anymore. Broken. We had a ton of external links being built through social media, influencers, so as soon as you stop paying the subscription, those links are dead. We were using this website for 3+ years when we decided we no longer needed it because Google Analytics and Google Optimize does the same exact thing FOR FREE and has much more capability.

As soon as we found this out, we stopped using their service. Either BE BILLED, or lose your traffic, you are a prisoner to this company.

You are paying per traffic you are sending over, so if this increases so does your monthly fee. Our company was growing so fast, Improvely had measured us at 250,000+ visits per month of $300+ month. We thought we had deactivated this service.

Fast forward 2-3 years, we are STILL BEING BILLED. As a big company, you have many bills coming in, with many different cards that you use so its easy to overlook recurring bills.

They kept billing us. All in all, we have been billed $299.99 each month unsuspectingly, and $3,599.88 in the past year alone.

Their support team, Dan, who apparently after some research is also their founder (Dan Grossman), is a one man support team, refuses to give us any refund on all the months that we were billed .Now everything begins to make sense.

It appears to look like a 1-man operation since he's responding to our customer support tickets with little to no help.

If we can’t get our money back, we will surely help whoever reading this to avoid Improvely at all costs so they don’t end up in the same fate as us.

For the reason above, I would not recommend Improvely to anyone.
