What are the best aspects of this product?
I like how flexible Intacct is and how it provides our non-profit with the tools to make sure everything is being accounted for and we don't miss anything. Back then we had a lot data and activities happening in our hands but we were not able to substantiate it and generate reports with that data. With Intacct, together with some customization, we were able to enhance the whole process.
Sign up for implementation and you won't regret it. This is a very flexible system and it allows you to correct things in case you make a wrong decision.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The reports are really powerful but there is too much customization going around, which makes me think I need some learning to learn and master the platform's fullest potential, such as dashboards, graphics, performance cards.
The platform doesn't have the approval system in AP and Purchasing can be a long process (entering, converting, different numbers between Purchasing Request and Invoices...)
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
We manage to fuse three books into one and retrieve more data using Intacct. We got better reports, final reports, and more answers to non-finance/accounting members in the company through the dashboards. Accuracy with the searches is also improved with Intacct as we have the right dimensions for each functionality and before we would have to search for answers in the memo field of our legacy system.
