I’m using this product at work and it provides great integration with other powerful tools

What are the best aspects of this product?

The UI is well-design and includes keyboard shortcuts and great code completion. It has duplicate detection, and refactoring concept is design so it can be applied from everywhere starting from Java classes in pom.xml files, properties files and etc. I also like that it has powerful integration with Version Control Systems.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

When the project is big the indexing is slow, it has weak support for German keyboard, it needs to compile entire project to run an executable even if you’re using the Maven integration. In addition, there is weak support for GNOME and some shortcuts doesn’t work as expected and it requires to disable some GNOME keyboard shortcuts so you can take an advantage of product’ shortcuts.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I’m using it at work for software development processes and it is helpful tool thanks to all its integrations with XPath support, App/Web Server integration, Maven integration, Dependency diagrams. There is no need to switch the windows, it is highly intuitive product.
