PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

The absolute best thing about this product is I don't have to do a thing. It just works.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

After 32 years and plenty of disappointments, some of them VERY COSTLY, I can say with conviction there isn't a thing that doesn't work or needs to work better.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

After ten years of working with InterWeave, and asking for this, that, or the other thing, I've found that everything I have ever thought of, everything I've ever needed, was already there or developed within practically no time at all. If I think of something, I pass it along and before I know it, I've got it.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Financial reliability was the biggest problem. We began with Home Dome Budget Books - pencil and paper tracking and hand writing invoices nightly from 91 to 98. The next five years was working with spread sheets for scheduling jobs and QuickBooks to invoicing jobs - you can't imagine the number of jobs that fell through the cracks and the number of duplicate jobs or jobs without all the products/services - what a mess. Then three years working with a company that was supposed to handle all the scheduling and just send the financials to QuickBooks. It took months to discover invoices had not been sent to QB and customers had not received invoices. To make up for that disaster, the following year the invoice amounts were duplicated, triplicated, quadruplicated, etc and we paid Christmas bonuses and purchased equipment on income that didn't exist! In November of 2006 we launched Sales Force and Account Dynamics. We received a letter in February of 2007 saying Account Dynamics was closing their company and we had until the end of May to find a new solution. That solution was InterWeave in the summer of 2007. I've never had to look back, never even considered for a moment the thought of moving to another solution, or had a glitch that couldn't be resolved quickly, easily, and graciously. I've been through the worst of the worst, not been afraid to look for something better nor have I resisted walking away from a bad solution. After ten years of excellence, InterWeave has never given me a reason to consider even for a moment any other solution. It works, and I don't have to!

Why did you decide to change it?

It produced erroneous financial information, at one point not producing invoices at all and at another, multiplying the financial figures sometimes up to 7 times the amount of the invoice. Customers only got one invoice however, QuickBooks showed SEVEN times the amount in income than we were actually ever going to receive.

Are you satisfied with the change?

100%, This form does not allow for correct choices for some answers.
As far as my "Role", it is all of the choices: I advised the company to purchase it, I purchased it, I implemented it, I use it, I taught others to use it and I them in using it.
As far as how long I've been using it, the maximum choice is only three to five years nevertheless, I've been using it for ten and a half years!
