What are the best aspects of this product?

It affords you a good environment that can be used for different languages including HTML, XML, and Java. The program allows me to create Java applications easier and faster. Also, they work great on any hardware platform. What's more, is that the user interface is easy to understand. This is also the case for every functionality. Speaking of functionality, it has a set of integrated builders. There are wizards for new components. It also has appropriate palletes and previsualizers that allow developers easy yet robust construction. What's more, is that you can create solutions in multiple languages and also interactive data forms. Furthermore, it creates graphics and reports.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It runs a bit slow especially when you start running it. The program is very heavy and makes the computer slow. There was also a time where I cannot see my preferred option when I started to create a project using the Wizard. The installation was also tedious. It also crashes when refactoring or when just deleting.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The software helps me as an SOA consultant. I create many services using Service Oriented Architecture and the tools in Oracle JDeveloper makes this less difficult.
