What are the best aspects of this product?
JDeveloper has many environments integrated like Java, XML, PHP, HTML and many databases. It helps you simplify tasks and eases the whole developing process. There is that simple "next" command that makes tasks and development easy. This develops detailed lines of code and templates. Also, the user interface is very intuitive and is available in different languages.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The program is very heavy. It hangs and takes a long time to get operational. Also, the installation process is quite tedious and complicated.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I use the 11g Oracle JDeveloper. This one is the best in SOA. I'm an SOA consultant and I love the product. Furthermore, I use it to create JCA adapters. It simplifies my work by creating several XML files for SOA web service. It helps me save time and makes development less difficul
