Oracle JDeveloper for gaming development

What are the best aspects of this product?

Oracle has a great database and them adding that feature to JDeveloper is a great move. It is also a plus that it has more tools now like HTML, PHP, AJAX, and many others. Because of these things and other functionalities, our development pace has simplified and accelerated. And it also works well for us that there are multiple interface languages to choose from.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

JDeveloper is a heavy software and it always takes its time to launch fully. And whenever we have huge projects, it would run into issues and would crash. Also, the IDE is difficult to configure.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We enjoy having an Oracle database with JDeveloper and how it allows us to work with other development environments.
