Best for creating apps even if it’s your first time using the program.

What are the best aspects of this product?

There are so many things to love and appreciate about JIM. Currently, I work as a graphic designer for our company. My job is to recreate our web site's overall look by adding new features and uploading new images for better branding. I was also able to come up with a smartphone app that would help us simplify some of our existing manual tasks to make life easier for our employees and our clients. I am not well knowledgeable when it comes to coding, but I was still able to come up with several prototypes to show to other people.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I've realized that it is somehow difficult to create a mobile version of any app from scratch. If you are trying to implement your style and ideas, it takes more patience to get what you want to see in your prototype and finished product. Using MS Word as your primary tool to create the prototype can be tricky because the results may be different from what you like and expect. You need to learn somehow how to manage your expectations.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It does an effective job of helping me develop better-looking prototypes for several applications that need to be redeveloped and redesigned. I was under a lot of pressure because of the need to implement these changes as soon as possible. I am happy that I can create apps that matter to most of the people that I work with, including our external clients.
