PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

This product compares in basic functionality with ShareFile, which we had used for 7 years. It provides the basics for sharing larger files between our clients and also for encrypted file sharing.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

There is a long list:
1) The interface is almost all text-based with minimal graphics. Because of that it can be difficult for our employees and our clients to quickly decide what action to take to complete their downloads.
2) We have found the admin controls to not work consistently, causing lots of headaches.
3) Some emails sent via the Outlook plugin will cause formatted text to look extremely confusing on the download page that a client must view in order to take an action to retrieve their files. The text shows all the HTML code wrapped around it.
4) Uploads web page will tend to hold a cookie that "remembers" an expired link, causing our clients to receive an error.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

* Options for longer storage periods
* Options for reducing the barrage of auto-generated email notifications

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Sharing files that required encryption.
