PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Excellent and up to date GUI. This just looks like a website built with way more complex tools.
Excellent implementation of WebServices in 4GL language
The language has the advantages of 4GL + many features of modern languages such as dynamic variables, regular expressions etc ... This make powerful applications while cutting development and maintenance costs.
Beautiful and evolutive architecture, relying on internal developments + integration of popular Open Source projects
Produces binary code, not pseudo-code
99.999 compatible with FourJS's Genero
Although not free, amazing ROI
Works with the most popular DBMS, such as Informix, PostGreSql, DB2, MariaDB,Oracle, etc
All the advantages of the Informix 4GL in a modern development and runtime platform

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Deployment to Production environment is slow.
Configuration between Application Server and IDE is not trivial, could be simplified

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

One thing is just missing: Hashes ( arrays with key )

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

By modernizing customer's legacy Informix 4GL applications, instead of redeveloping them in a "more popular languages" this avoids severe budget and timeframe failures, and keeps the users community comfortable with the applications, since they remain indentical. Just the front end changes for better, the flow and application logic do not change at all.
