What are the best aspects of this product?

ManageEngine MDM is very user-friendly. Its user interface is highly intuitive. Even those with little to no knowledge about information technology will be able to get a hang of the product in no time. Enrolling devices can be done quickly with ease. Distributing policies, which are customizable, is also a breeze. The same applies to configuring policies. Aside from that, the platform lets the admin set up which applications employees are allowed to download. The platform also got many other amazing features. Plus, there are many video tutorials available on YouTube. Last but not the least, the software lets you enroll and manage 15 phones free of charge.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I struggle rolling out policy updates at first. It needs to be done manually, which is not actually bad because it gives team members the chance to review the policy first. So I contacted their customer service, and they taught me how to push through the policy updates. Another thing is that I find their trial period quite short but it's possible to renew it for a few days. You just have to reach out to the vendor.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

This platform enables us to keep an eye on mobile devices even if we are miles away from the location of the device. The remote access/control is a big help for field workers. Also, we can geo fence the devices and secure mobile data since the software allows us to limit content and user. Overall, ManageEngine provides us complete control of our mobile devices.
