Been Using Maptitude GIS for Over 20 Years. Nothing Beats It. Highly Recommend Maptitude.

What are the best aspects of this product?

I purchased Maptitude GIS over 20 years ago for my graduate work at UCSC. Maptitude was the only GIS that could handle the amount of data that I need to use. Even the big name, and you know who I mean, couldn't come close. Second reason was the price. Maptitude is by far the value leader in the GIS field and Third, the amount of data that comes bundled with Maptitude is amazing. Oh, and one more, Maptitude is extremely straightforward and easy to use compared to any other GIS product out there. Try Maptitude and like me, you'll never look at another GIS platform.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I have never ever had Maptitude NOT do what I asked of it. I can think of no problems at all.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

Would like it to handle native Geodatase (GDB) files, but I have found that this capability will be offered in a near future version. Thank you Caliper.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

My first use was to do the mapping interface for EDF's Toxic Scorecard. The job entailed mapping tens of thousands of data points and data all over the nation. Any other GIS I tried would slow to a crawl if I loaded any more than a few states. Maptitude easily handled the entire nation making it the only choice for the job. Since then Maptitude has never let me down and I recommend it to everyone I can.
