A great problem-solver

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like how Matlab almost seems like a machine that we feed data into, and then it will just automatically spit out the results in a very neat package. The engineering silos of our company use this tool too and they can easily get the solution that they are looking for. It’s a brilliant tool to use when you’re feeling especially stuck on a task.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

For one, it can be quite expensive. And another thing, it’s not very easy to learn. You have to dedicate hours of reading and research to get the hang of this tool.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We’ve been using this to measure magnetic fields.
