A major upgrade our organization needed.

What are the best aspects of this product?

We initially looked into Mendix to upgrade our current legacy apps in our company. We investigated a few vendor platforms and made a decision to stick with Mendix. The tool appears to be easy in terms of usage. It did a splendid job in increasing our time-to-market. With the platform, we're able to push our product out within one year.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The main problem we faced when utilizing the platform was mainly related to certain components within the UI and user interface. After talking to the Mendix team (as well as deploying our own enhancements), we realized the platform is consistently trying to improve. It does what it can to offer flexiblity and the kind of speed we were in need of.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The main problem was trying to offer a UI that's flexible for end users. A platform is needed in which engineers can swiftly create and find means of upgrading our existing legacy applications. This time around, we're seeing an 50% increase in development time. We're also seeing a spike in end user productivity.
