What are the best aspects of this product?

One of Visual Studio's standout functionality is IntelliSense. A lot of IDEs possess it but the one it has is a lot functionality. This is because it showcases errors and suggestions. Even when utilizing the function/method, it'll showcase a short documentation. A documentation is also shown for the present parameter. Other awesome functioanlity includes a profiler and a built-in debugger.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Visual Studio is one awesome IDE. But nothing comes in perfect. One downside is that it lack support for certain languages. Another is that despite Microsoft claiming you programming the C/C++ programs for Linux via Visual Studio, it's still considered immature. The reason is the lack of semaphore, pthread, and unistd.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I've been using Visual Studio in the development of a Cordova app written within TypeScript. Cordova was automatically downloaded by Visual Studio. VS made a compliation of it and gave me persmission to debug as a native app for Windows 10. It has a pre-insalled Android emulator and with a device (for both Windows 10 mobile and Android). If not for that, the process of development, compiling, and testing would've taken a lot longer.
