PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Down to its core, Visual Studio is an attractive and functional environment for writing code. It can be done anywhere from backend web services to full-stack development. Even if there are folks out there who don't mind the software's feel or design, I can still appreciate its dark theme. It helps me work for longer periods.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The only quarrel I have here is that its own Intellisense can be ---- too intelligent for my liking. It keeps on adding stuff that I wasn't trying to. But best believe, its benefits far outweigh the cost. As a matter of fact, turning it off hasn't crossed my mind.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

My primary role here in terms of Visual Studio is making backend web services. This involves working on credit card processing to the dialing platform to inserting records. Even if WCF is a bit outdated, I like how the WCF test client. It lets you test the code without having to write a client service.
