What are the best aspects of this product?
The MobileIron admin dashboard has a lot of features but is easy to use once you’ve learned each of such functions. It supports efficient analytics through the handy reports and main panel, and it also runs NOX and DEP plugins smoothly. We do not need to connect with the customer support anymore; nor use a third-party platform for the job. The key is that MobileIron works with many other tools and brands to optimize its functionalities.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The use and upkeeps of MobileIron is super expensive. First, the support service sometimes asks for additional fees when we need help in solving a complex concern. We really find this not right since we’re already paying a support fee. Also, we often receive notifications about availing its cloud packages or security boost. We can’t grab those because we do not have enough case study about deciding. Moreover, MobileIron needs some improvements in terms of upgrading and authorization management.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
The NOX and DEP plugins are the two biggest features that help us through MobileIron. It automates much of our processes, such as efficient app roll-out, or pushing upgrades to the devices of our users. They do not need to create an email or iTunes account or call us for such processes anymore. This also means that our employees don’t need to contact us each time they receive or use new devices; especially for work. We’re eyeing integrating MS Office 360 and Google Suites for bigger mobile device potentials too.
