Nagios has a simple configuration that allows users to customize scripts and monitor applications easily. I also love that it has all the available plugins that makes it easier for use to monitor IT infrastructure.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Some important features are not included in the free version, so you had to spend a few dollars to avail it.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It basically reduced the time we spend on monitoring because it makes that particular task easier and more efficient.
