What are the best aspects of this product?
I think it's great how NetSuite caters to a variety of industries and business sizes. No matter which category you may fall under, this solution can provide you with a useful set of tools for your needs. As a NetSuite admin for my team, I like how I can easily change certain fields to work orders. Whenever I run across any issues, I make sure to check SuiteAnswers first. This is basically a comprehensive FAQ section with a plethora of issues solved there. I find it easy to import tasks and generate reports from NetSuite as well.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
NetSuite works best under its original setup. As we strived to customize the program, the more it introduced bugs and other issues. It's difficult to make the most out of the accounting and project management features as well. The search feature, as well as the timesheet report, can be frustrating to use. Our agents cannot bill our clients directly, and we can't issue a T&M receipt in advance too. Plus, I don't find the mobile app particularly useful. Despite all of this, I still think it's great that NetSuite maintains a level of QA within its system, making sure to call out erroneous computations and other possible issues. Still, I think that their customer reps should be more knowledgeable on NetSuite nuances so they can provide better support to us users.
