What are the best aspects of this product?

NetSuite has helped us to significantly enhance this portion of our business, as well as the time it takes to process personal expenses on a monthly basis. By moving from an Excel based expense reporting tool to Nexonia, we were able to reduce our expense report submission process by nearly a week.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The product is very customizable but there is a negative as you have a lot to learn. I’ve been using NetSuite for about three years now and I still have to learn about a lot of the features. Another gripe is a lot of basic features are not available. We have made requests for about 15 enhancements with the support team. For example, I feel the bank reconciliation functionality could be made easier to use, but to be fair, the vendor is trying to improve this feature.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I work for a non-profit organization that receives funding from 10 sources. Because of our growing needs, Quickbooks was not adequate for our reporting and data organization demands. This is where NetSuite has been a big help. It has also reduced the time we used to take to process monthly personal expenses. We also moved to Nexonia which helped us to significantly reduce the time taken to submit expense reports.
