What are the best aspects of this product?
I love that NetSuite is flexible so that we can customize the app for our process and don’t need to change the process to suit the app. I can easily create Forms and Records, Queries, Reports, and Custom Inputs. I can use the Visual Workflow Manager for tasks like sending email notifications, showing popup messages to inform users, making fields required for certain users, etc. In short, the Workflow Manager enables us to automate tasks and manage our process easily.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
There is a millisecond delay when you enter data into a cloud-based system like NetSuite. But this is a negligible glitch that can be ignored given that you don’t have to manually enter data in different systems because NetSuite is a single app that runs our whole company.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Since NetSuite is cloud-based we were able to get rid of our hardware, software, server operating systems etc. A big advantage is our team can be productive from anywhere. We were not affected by the last snowstorm as our employees worked from their homes which has become a great option for some staff members.
