PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

There are a lot of things that I found impressive with this tool. For one, the simple and straightforward user interface is a gem and made it so easy for the team to learn how to use it. I also appreciated the flexibility of the importation, mapping, and syncing of metadata. This software also made it easy for our team to compare data from different assets, thanks to the Metadata Grid Editor. We've been so impressed with this that you can now find it being used in our museums, for our communications, and even for medicine. It's also a great thing that the customer support team that they have in place provides great help. They work hard to resolve your issue for you. The openness of the company towards customer suggestions is also a great thing to see. They have a site for product feedback and suggestions that they actively monitor and I think that is amazing. A lot of the updates I've been seeing have come from user suggestions!

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I think this product is as close to perfect as it can be. Sure, there are still things to be improved, such as its GUI design elements and some of its workflow and features. It wouldn't hurt if they optimized the GUI design elements, like I said, and improved the workflows. I've also noticed that the software has become better and better with each new version that comes out. All in all, I'm confident that any future issues I may encounter will be effectively resolved.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

This product has helped us out with organization and streamlining. Our media holdings are now all in one place, making it easier for our employees to have the materials they need easily accessible. It has also made it easier for us to send out materials to not just other departments but to the media outlets, we work with as well. It has also helped us to provide the public access to our curated media. The software has also become an integral part of our daily news production workflows, as it can be used to receive assets. If there's a needed material, an employee can quickly access it with this software.
