Intacct Time and Expense module integration eradicates effort done manually and input errors from receipts and paper-based forms. Expense policy violations or expense limit reached are being flagged. Receipt image can be directly attached to the recorded transction within Intacct. Taking a snap of receipts and directly uploading it to your account for expense item submission. Tracking mileage through GPS.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Just one small negative. Whenever an expense item is sent to a number of departments, a single department manager is left to make the approval. Dividing expenses to numerous departments won't happen frequently. Although the approver will tend to get confused when the times journey to a single department instead of charged departments.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Putting a stop to paper-based documentation expenses/purchases. That would mean no longer dealing with lost receipts, unclear handwriting, or re-printing black expense forms. With the receipt image being attached to the Intacct transaction, purchase support is made available for both auditors and Intacct system users. Credit card activity reconciliation is simpler than ever. Easy acquisition of month-end accruals.
