PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

It is open source and totally free and in constant enhancement and improvement. It has a great responsive design. It is full of features for selling, product search and filtering, pricing and promotions, marketing, customer support , multi-store, multi-vendor, multi-warehouse, etc. etc. It has a great community that provides help to other users, make suggestions for improvements, develop plugins, themes and extensions and contribute with code for further enhancements. Its great architecture makes it very easy for developers to customize and enhance . It is based on ASP.NET Core and can run in Windows, Linux or IOS. Its performance is great and has a Google Page Speed 100/100.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Upgrading from version to version it is still difficult.

What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?

Advanced discount and promotion features for retail.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We are developers and have developed over 70 stores on nopCommerce for medium and large companies. Many of the projects required heavy customization in design, features, connections to payment and shipping providers, ERP/CRM and other external systems
