What are the best aspects of this product?
ONGage is certainly in 19 years in email marketing and delivery, simply the most capable, robust, and well built reliable product I have ever had the privilege of utilizing.. It can make any segment with any logic you can imagine with logic that is near perfect, and the visibility and control it gives you to route your email and subscribers and how to handle them based on engagement metrics etc is nothing short of incredible and unbelievable infact.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
The only few things that I think are not very fun, and a pain in a way is this whole, oh.., make a transactional campaign which is Nothing more than a shell of a container for stats and settings that mean nothing, just a name, and then you have to make an automation rule inside of that transactional campaign to use a trigger rule or custom field, and then 1 hour later you can only finally send an even trigger work flow, and so 6 things to be done for an immediate sent email from opt in and then automation rules cost extra per each additional, and there is not such thing as a list, no a list is a brand in this case, and segments and contact fields are what segregate within a brand / domain (list) .. , and lastly they do NOT have Tags!! That is not so cool, because contact fields have a default value, and then can be changed, but to do this you have to make a complex automation rule, vs .. person clicks this type of link and gets this tag, and done.. However, Email Tags , automation rules, groups, segments, contact fields an automations with transactional still they allow you do do ANY AND ALL THINGS you can Possibly Imagine!! Just that is a bit more and harder to configure once building. However to replicate, their platform allows you to do so in full on all brands in a single click!!
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
Real time tags , as in tagging users and not just contact field, ., just setting up a trigger to hit a new subscriber and not 6 things for a transactional set up and then event trigger, and in transactional like all other portions of the platform use domain/esp routing instead of having to re do and re make the same thing 6 times in there.. vs campaigns and event trigger work flows 1 time and route via each esp.
STICK A USER TO AN ESP!!!! my connections / vendero that is. IF a an email subscriber opens or clicks from a particular relay, then bes to tie that user to that engaged relay vs using another until a period of inactivity where they are again released to be mailed by another to get them engaged again.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Multiple email domain brand delivery and routing, full esp to isp / domain routing with segmentation and delivery break down by each isp.. and the ability to assign a %.., along with a quota per each route and each esp and domain / ip combo.., and then being able to throttle and assign a time zone over x hours and to start with highest engaged first, working down the lesser and then least.

Why did you decide to change it?
they all were far to basic, and only were one single delivery solution and none of them were the best at it all., but ongage allows you the best of all worlds and to hook up to them all and coordinate with SMS vendors in the same platform that work hand in hand with email.

Beyond a doubt, yes, certainly.., could never go back and not use ongage.

Yes, 35% so far, they are great, and as we grow we will NEED and require a better rate, but they are always reasonable and fair, and thus far, well worth it.
