What are the best aspects of this product?

We've been using other CRM software like InfusionSoft and SalesForce so we can say with confidence that Ontraport is one of the best out there when it comes to managing leads and customer success. The interface is quite familiar so learning to effectively use it didn't take much time although we once hired a consultant to get us up to speed because we got stuck on some complex questions. Right now, we're only utilizing a portion of Ontraport's arsenal since we don't need some of the features like the e-commerce bits. Our primary use for the software is for leads management, sales renewal, and leads campaigns, while the main objects we use within the software are Contacts & Deals and Companies. We also integrate it with Zapier for automated lead generation to the platform from our website.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

One of the negative experiences with Ontraport is that when we learned that we could only run the Zapier automation on the Contact objects. This means that the options for integrating data with the Company or Deal objects are limited. Another issue and this is a big one, is that we can't get someone on the Ontraport team to understand one of our unique use cases. This lead to being unable to utilize the system for some time properly. But after a few months of hit or miss cooperation with the vendor's support team, we were able to make it work finally. We are now excited because of it.
