What are the best aspects of this product?

It is as easy to use as they come. You will not find another similar tool in the market that is easier to use as Oracle Agile. When it comes to training, you do not need it. It is like using the internet altogether and you are done. You can search for any data you want without even having prior experience or any form of training. With the BOM configuration, you will be able to store any data that you want for future revisions. It allows you to attach files and data which can be referenced or retrieved with ease whenever you want. You can customize the interface such that you include the manufacturer’s pace and make it a click away to access all information that relates to that manufacturer. On top of that, it gives you the power to configure the system according to your business needs.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It lacks the basics that most databases related applications apply. For example, it does not apply any rule when it comes to data entry. It could be better if there was some sort of a rule when entering data as it is demanded from all database-related tools. Although it produces reports to help you understand the data you have collected, those reports as not as we expected. They can be confusing at times in terms of interpretation. Also, when you use the client application and the web application, you are supposed to have similar experience or they should offer you with the same services. This is not the case with this product as they are different in terms of functionality.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We have been able to complete huge milestones thanks to Oracle Agile. With the ability to revise data that you have stored due to the BOM configuration the product comes with, you will be able to compare different data in future and apply where necessary. Also, we can advocate for accountability using this tool due to the fact that it can store historical data regarding the transactions made. That data is kept and tracked according to who made that transaction and thus hold them accountable for that. Files can be attached and archived for future reference. This feature equips us with the right knowledge in the form of data that we can use in future for other products or projects.
