What are the best aspects of this product?

Oracle BI provided us an easy way to create analytical performance reports which serve as our basis in creating action plans and practicable business goals. It significantly augmented the functions of our current Oracle Business Suite, especially in terms of capturing accurate and relevant data either internally or externally. Apart from its reporting, Oracle offers a secure central platform for backup, cloning, exporting, and testing. We continuously find ways to optimize each of its features, with its customer care service always readily available to help us in this endeavor.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

Because operating mechanics and placements of features within Oracle are a lot different from most BI tools, being able to move around the platform with comfort will take a while. To be able to effectively harness the Oracle solution, newbies will have to go through a training process.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Oracle stretched the limits of the Business package in terms of producing performance and financial reports.
