PROS & CONS

What are the best aspects of this product?

Oracle BI is a fantastic tool for displaying complex executive in a visually appealing, organized dashboard. The dashboard functions amazingly even when we are importing large datasets from multiple sources that require constant and dynamic updating. Now that the process is automated, we are saving a lot on labor costs, and I think that the presence of drill-downs contributes to it as well.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

We used to struggle a lot to display data visually and to modify our datasets. Facing the lack of a coherent system, our support team had to deal with daily requests by rearranging data manually, either in Excel or another format sutable for the users. As difficult as this sounds, users demand it, and you have to stay flexible to respond to their needs. Oracle BI, however, doesn't allow such tweaking between formats, but it cuts time, at least.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Cutting time and having a detailed overview on our data. The development team is involved as never before, and our work has become much more efficient.
