What are the best aspects of this product?

If you're looking for a universal solution for busines problems and requirements, that's Oracle Busines Intelligence! I am impressed by such speed and power, and I'm constantly noticing improvement in our knowledge and skills when managing the system. I am also looking forward to their updates, I am sure they will make our work even easier!

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I wish it was a bit easier to use! The setup consists of too many steps, and operations are time-consuming in general. Sometimes, it takes hours to deal even with the simplest issue, not even to mention how hard it is to understand why a feature is not performing well in a given moment. I think that the system needs some special kind of design facility to enable users to understand errors, that would be a huge improvement.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I'd say all of our problems, and that's what I genuinely mean. To start with, we are making pivot table graphs. Java helps us organize and implement important functionalities too. It wasn't easy, but we managed to readjust the alphabetical structure of the dashboard and to order functionalities the way our customers need them to be. The dashboard looked like this: Finances, Human Resources, Procurement and Spend, Supply Chain and Order Management. This is how it looks like now: Human Resources, Procurement and Spend, Supply Chain and Order Management, and Finances. All it took to do it was to adjust prefixes in the catalog manager.
