What are the best aspects of this product?
Our scheduling and appointments used to be a mess. Oracle cleaned the whole process. We got to be flexible assigning staff on which days, filling the gaps days ahead and alerting us of appointments. Sudden calendar change used to be a big pain for me, but with the system, I can simply tap into the calendar, find an available staff member, notify her and verify the change with the customers. It's easy peasy and I'm surprised I didn't get to use the software much earlier.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Now I remember why I didn't get to use this much earlier--it's quite on the costly side. You'll have to make room in your opex to get this system. It's all worth it though if you have the budget.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
It's a growth booster for us. I recommend it to salons that are starting to grow their market. There's no way you can handle more schedules manually or with multiple apps. I got onto the system at the right time, just when we're dealing with more customers and expanding our staff. Managing staff schedule and appointments are scaled with Oracle. A good investment for us.
