The best way to create Lecture Video is through Panopto

What are the best aspects of this product?

Showing lecture video is indeed a very challenging task for our faculty. One of our dilemmas is gauging the understanding of our students while watching the video. Through the quiz feature of Panopto, we were able to check how well they comprehend. I also like their database filled with so many information.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

One feature of Panopto that I find hard to use is video permission. I wish it could automatically allow new students to access the video since it is time-consuming to manually add them to the list. They also need to work on its integration with other tools for better quality and less trouble.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Recording lecture videos on our instructor's preferred venue and time is such a breakthrough for us. The effort, time, and money that we saved in using Panopto are incredible. We were able to add our style on each video. The travel time from our studio and the money spent during recording is now behind us. Editing is the answer to all the flaws and errors of the video.
