We use the platform to review our speeches. It’s a nice tool.

What are the best aspects of this product?

One of the student’s activities is to make speeches and write critical reflections about it afterward. To make a proper assessment of the speeches made and pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses, we have to see and hear the performances ourselves. Panopto helps learners accomplish that. The platform allows students to record speeches, easily upload it to the system, and view them when needed. On top of that, we can access our school Canvas and get creative.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It makes learning less personal. Students don’t get a chance to interact with their teachers anymore. They can just learn through viewing the lectures uploaded by the teachers using the platform.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

It has helped in the personal growth of students taking a public speaking course.
