What are the best aspects of this product?

For me, Panorama Necto is a forerunner among BI software competitors, and I believe that my job profile (exhaustive BI comparison) allows me to claim this. There are many features that make Necto stand out, and the most striking among them is simplicity. Necto is one of those tools that will make training costs disappear, assuming you're already working with an experienced BI team. Further advantages are powerful and interactive geo analytics, a reliable support team, valuable small BI applications, stabile integration with multiple sources, and absolute focus on end-user facilitation.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I don't exactly dislike things, but I believe that as every young tool, Panorama Necto has a lot of room to improve. For instance, I expect user communities to grow and develop the same way the product does, and I believe it should (and will!) be integrated with Hadoop. Together with this, I think that each user should be able to use evaluation copies from his local machine.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Many, many, of them, but few that really deserve to be mentioned: Intuitive and interactive business dashboards for top business management, forecasting and making cost-effective decisions, and reducing reporting costs.
