The best solution for data and collaboration

What are the best aspects of this product?

I like many things, but mostly the ability to foresee data trends, and to find and extract the exact infographics I need. The product is socially empowered, and makes it quite easy to share and discuss content with collaborators, regardless of where they are. It is enough for the user to subsribe, and he will be able to access any piece of content stored in the library. One thing that was really important for my work was creating reports, and I feel pleased to use Necto's detailed and customizable dashboard to do it. The Automated Insight and Exception Tracking are just perfect for the needs of our management team, since they get a notificaton concerning any exceptional process.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It is not multi-lingual, that's really a problem for our international partners. Besides, it supports only IE 8.0 and 9.0, and it doesn't comply with Mac and BlackBerry. It is well-integrated, but certain connectors are still missing.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

The same as every similar organization, we benefited from customizable dashboards, reporting, collaboration, and ETL. I think the ones that benefited the most were the members of our IT support team, since this is the first time they've actually gathered all valuble data under one roof. Using the data for reporting and forecasting has never been easier, since we are also predicting and analyzing trends, and we couldn't do that before. As you can guess, this means that our Business team is no longer dependant on the IT one, and that saves significant time. Everything happens easy and smooth. Another thing we really appreciate is being able to use all data formats, including Excel and PDF. It identifies business opportunities proactively, and its amazing KPIs make a valuable comparison of our goals and performance. We really adore this product.
