Elements have a wide range of features that competing for software cannot hold a candle to. Among the standout tools are the picture manipulation tools and auto-labeling capabilities. There are even organizations and sharing options available that make it easier to work on the interface. With regard to sharing, there are multiple output choices so it is easy to provide others the file format they need. Elements really make accessible Photoshop's editing tools to amateurs.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It takes up a lot of my computing resources and it is also lacking in some aspects. I have to point out that it is not capable of correcting chromatic variations nor does it have support for point geometry. On top of that, there is no neighborhood help framework. And it cannot work with HEIF on Windows.
