What are the best aspects of this product?

There's a lot more features than I can use for my everyday coding, which is amazing. And if they're still not enough, then there's the plugin function which adds more feature if needed. Essentially, this IDE helps me in understanding and making good codes.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

PhpStorm uses a lot of my system's resources. Also, the indexing function is quite slow sometimes. I think part of the reason for these drawbacks is because it uses the Java core. But, the advantage of using such architecture is that it makes the IDE more portable. Fairtrade, I guess.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

My project requires me to make complex frontend code for a react app and I use PhpStorm for that. It has features help me in understanding the codebase pretty quickly. For example, this IDE makes it relatively easier to look for JSX files which are related to particular parent and child components.
