What are the best aspects of this product?

One of the highlight features of PhpStorm for me is its capability to edit multiple files from a single UI. There's a terminal too that allows us to run command line straight from the program and you can extend the IDE's functionality by adding plugins. Another thing I'm pretty impressed of is the JetBrains' support team. They have a feature called open issue tracker which is always up to date to make users aware of the progress of the new features that will be added on future updates of this code editor. Issue tracker also keeps tabs of reported bugs and allows users to request for new features. And last but not least, there are guides and materials available that we can use as a reference.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I've been using this for over 3 years now and I don't think I've run into major problems up until now.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Our team of developers is using PhpStorm to create web applications and they greatly benefit from the various features of the IDE such as code syntax highlighter and remote deployment. Those are time-saving features which also ensure that our development teams' code is up to our company standard.
