The most amazing PHP IDE I’ve ever used

What are the best aspects of this product?

I made PHPStorm my main IDE because compared to the others I'm using, this one performs the best. There are a lot of good features including code navigation, misspelling corrections, and code completion. Thanks to these, I'm can learn many things about code performance and style, as well as the PSR recommendation. Another great function of PHPStorm is that it makes sure that when I change things up, the important parts of my code, like variable names, won't break. Combine that with the IDE's capability to detect typos and finding pieces of codes that haven't been used, the result is that I can refactor more efficiently and confidently.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

The main issue I'm facing PHPStorm with is that if you're trying to code through remote ssh mount, it's seriously slow. In fact, I can't even use some of the integrated features like code navigation and git. So if this is what you're going for, i.e. code through remote ssh mount, then it's better to use Sublime Text.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

I'm using this for my everyday coding works. PHPStorm increases my speed, efficiency, and confidence while at the same time, allowing me to learn better coding practices.
