What are the best aspects of this product?
At a time when most photo editors are exclusively on a subscription basis, discovering Pixlr has been such a relief. It has a complete toolbox, even comparable to that of Adobe Photoshop. And even then, it's still a lot more simple than this Adobe giant that professionals seem to prefer using. I particularly like my options for pencils, brushes, shading fills, etc. With the number of tools that this lets you use, it's a wonder why this remains free (not that I'm complaining). My final take on the matter: I recommend anyone who's looking to find a free and complete photo editing tool to use. It's not as sophisticated, but here you will have access to all the basics, and a little more. You can even use this to merge two photos together. It's truly a viable alternative to paid Adobe tools.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
This is a free app, so understandably, this will be littered with ads--and it is. It's not a major cause for concern. I just get irritated by some ads.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I am a model by profession. Through time, I've managed to teach myself how to tweak my own photos to give me an edge in the industry. Pixlr has been especially helpful in this regard. I've been able to touch-up dozens of my sample photos. It's easy to use and the results are even professional-grade.
