What are the best aspects of this product?

What we like best about PlanGrid is the fact that it is cloud-based, thus letting us collaborate with team members and partners without difficulty. This also allows us to have more room for attaching notes and photos to plans so that we can save as much information as possible.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

It can be complicated to use when we want to synchronize new information to the cloud. And since it does not synchronize data from all devices automatically, sometimes we encounter problems with the planning because some people forget to do it manually. The software also makes it difficult for us to manage two plans at the same time and edit them. The hyperlinking function is horrible too and nobody likes to use it because of its slowness.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Despite its shortcomings, PlanGrid has helped us in managing our contractors and subcontractors. It has been beneficial in keeping our ongoing projects organized and in saving time when it comes to converting planes/
