What are the best aspects of this product?
I appreciate that we can use PlanSource for digital registration and accommodate all registrations for different vendors instead of moving through 5 separate applications to sign up for benefits. I like having the same person to deal with whenever I have concerns and was great to work with. Our benefits system is very complex but this person was able to get it right and get our app running properly.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
It would have been nice if the reporting tools were easier to use. I have to arrange the details every time to select the changes as I can't pull the details I need. Also, I don't like that I can't remove people that are no longer working with us and that I'm removing them manually every time.
I'd love to get a bit more site flexibility by adding my statement to clarify the benefits and be able to edit it at any time instead of giving that task to our representative. Additionally, be able to adjust our costing would be cool too. Our benefit system is very complicated and it would be great to have more leverage of it so that I can make sure that it's calculating correctly and not just explaining how it will function.
I love working with the person assigned to us but the loss is the timezone difference. It'd be great to have someone to work with instantly, particularly when I need a fast solution. If not, just the option to update things myself.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
Online registration is a big benefit along with having one spot for all vendor enrollments. I am still figuring out some rough edges and still getting used to the interface, but I think that it's going to save more time for me.
