What are the best aspects of this product?
The actual website is built well. But we didn\'t want a developer (I could have got one of those from anywhere) we wanted a professional, full service agency to create something really special and give us advice and guidance for our £78,000 that we paid them.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
Project management is wasteful, and incompetent. Their project manager did not listen to what we needed and I got the impression that their single developer was just overworked and had no time for us. We asked for another project manager and one had just left and one was joining. Plume are not a real agency. They just orchestrate a bunch of freelancers.
We were also held to ransom when we decided to end the contract. The nightmare scenario when you\'ve spent a fortune and they are just adding bill after bill and when you finally say enough is enugh they hold you over a barrel and lock you out. It\'s almost criminal how much they charged, the way they treated us and what they did.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
I\'ll never work with them again. It was traumatic.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
They didn\'t solve problems they created them. I was really looking forward to a business that we could rely upon for advice and strategy. People who cared about what we are trying to do and about our business. Kaine only cares about money. He is a sharp business person who uses techniques verging on the dishonest to keep himself on the payroll.

Why did you decide to change it?
So we could own the software. As it happened when you finish with Plume you can never own the software. They gate everything so you need to pay them and can never move to different developers when they invariably disappoint or overcharge you. They wouldn\'t host our new site on our own servers. We have one of the biggest dental practices n the UK on absolutely top notch servers and they said we had to use their inferior servers. It\'s not about performance it\'s about money.
They claimed to have a bunch of secret sauce in the backend but now i have access I can see that it\'s just basic stuff. The whole thing is geared around tying you in. Everything will be your fault for not spending enough money. Although almost £80k for software with many thousands a month on top as their support plan is not cheap. I really feel ripped off. I feel stupid for putting my own business at risk like this. Please do not use this agency.

Ha! good luck with that. The level of sharp practice felt like fraud towards the end.
