What are the best aspects of this product?
It integrates with EVERYTHING lawyers use: quickbooks, LawPay, outlooks, etc. It comes with a custom client intake form that I've been using for my client intake, and the secure client portal keeps my clients informed on their case, while also keeping their information private and secure.
What aspects are problematic or could work better?
I haven't had any integration issues, but I've read that it doesn't integrate as fluidly for some programs, including the Xero accounting service. PracticePanther says they will integrate with it soon.
What features/services would you like to see in future versions of this product?
I can't think of a feature/service that isn't already included. If they wanted to expand their horizons, they could make the service more like a Client Relationship Management tool (lexicata, contactually, etc.), but that's almost like telling them to start a new business.
What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?
I would probably spend hours every year on silly technical tasks that PracticePanther does automatically (e.g. copying things from my email to my case management software's notes). These little tasks take up 15 seconds at a time, but over a year, they probably add up to hours. PracticePanther automatically does these tasks for me, which makes the process a lot easier.
