Great reporting tool

What are the best aspects of this product?

With QlikView and free desktop version I can easily build a relational model so I can set it up to other users. I can share the load script with everyone’s machine and they are allowed to ask and answer question, like never before. The app is easy to use and runs fast.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I would like to see more keyboard optimizations especially when building objects. Also, I can’t select those who haven’t opted yet, on my mailing list. When I try to filter and create selections to QV experience, the Key 1 doesn’t appear so there is no way to select them.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

We use it for ad-hoc reporting, we are able to search through reports, answers and questions more quickly. We spend $1K on QV license but we have 90% benefits, instead of spending more than $20K on formal integrated BI reporting solution.
