What are the best aspects of this product?

There are lot of things that I like about RStudio. It has well-organized interface, great resources for learning and for help. It’s an open source and free. It allows you to build functions within packages and to create your own functions within the system. You are able to connect with other databases, for e.g. if you use SQl for business needs and you have tables and you can populate these tables within this software and they will be populate into SQL as well.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I’m relatively new user, so I don’t have dislikes.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

In the software we have used before this one, we used to calculate the probabilities that are based on the customer spending and demographic data. We have used trial version with SPSS. We were able to replicate our work from SPSS to RStudio. I’m learning the process of forecasting for 12 months. We use Excel Macros for the next 30 days.
