Everything is easy with Roambi

What are the best aspects of this product?

I discovered Roambi by chance, coming across a demo copy while browsing electronic stores on my iPad. It was a long time ago, and visualizators were not that essential at the moment, but it provided for some ad-hoc analysis on the move and it didn't cost a fortune, to say so. I took it, and I think that was the most reasonable decision I ever made for my business: the tool is packed with analytic power, and enables communication with all users that have the same business insight as I do. We were a small company at the time, and 'reasonable' was a big word, we were asking for impeccable functionality an dan affordable price, and we thought those would never work together. I even think they benefited from us more than we did, as they followed our feedback to expand their capacity to the extent that the program can deal with sensitive information. My favorite part are implementation options, I get to update my reports in every situation.

What aspects are problematic or could work better?

I wouldn't change it, I like it just the way it is. They have amazing development ideas, so I think they'd do well even without me criticizing this and that. If I have to name few improvements I'd like to see, those would probably be copying entire reports into data fields, and re-mapping. As an admin, I'd also like to be able to download the latest data files.

What specific problems in your company were solved by this product?

Our business requires employees to travel and work on field, and that gives priority to communication and access to information over everything else. We need to find our contacts and our data instantly, and Roambi makes it happen. Roambi took over tasks previously performed by our IT and Analytics team, usually such that didn't fall under the scope of their job description, and I'm really happy to see the guys refreshed and more relaxed. They are no longer supposed to provide information, since the management team has all answers even without them being involved. Roambi knows everything!
